Yes lag is history.
I can install dolby via zip (xda), or does it need a modified zip for MIUI?

Edit: I installed it from a USB Stick, 128gb SanDisk USB-C

Hello,

could you please include your quick changes / possible fixes in the sagit installer files aswell? Or is this phone-specific?

I just tried installing 8.6.28 on my Mi6 and still always get a bootloop at the logo (config see below).
I always delete cache & dalvik and therefore I wait at least 5 minutes before calling it a bootloop (normally it restarts itself on its own).
No matter if Magisk is included or not (!), my globeROM_install.log seems very short, same as posted here before:

Code: Select all

##### CONFIG
adjfssgc
/data/globeROM/globeROM_config.sh: line 1291: /sbin/rm: not found

Code: Select all

##### CONFIG
fcgajd
/data/globeROM/globeROM_config.sh: line 1291: /sbin/rm: not found
Regarding TWRP logfiles, could you please give me as a novice a link about how to do this adb logcat? Then I would try to help.
Because the only recovery.log files on my phone, that I found when in went back to TWRP after the bootloop, are those in my old TWRP backups, which probably don't help?

Last thing I tried, was something I read in another thread: install ROM (did that above), use Magisk Uninstaller in TWRP and install Magisk 16.4 manually after that. Result: still bootloop :-(

But maybe I didn't do those stepts correctly…
So, back to my Backup of GlobeROM 8.4.4 for now, which runs fine except for bad battery life ^^

Hi there, again I tried to flash the Miglobe ROM over my Xiaomi.EU 8.6.28 without wiping anything before.

It 's also hanging at miglobe Bootanimation. See my logs here:

Maybe this helps.

Update your twrp and wipe first, clean install.
Install rom reboot recovery install magisk if needed and you should be good to go.

Should i wipe System, too? Or What goes wrong?

Then format data 2 times, flash rom zip , wipe dalvik cache, reboot recovery, flash root then reboot and setup.

What I did today:
1. I uninstalled current magisk completly
2. New globerom (8.5.7) via TRWP (Version 3.2.2.-1) -> globerom with rombuilder, magisk module included.
3. new start ........ and......... finally no bootloop ! :D
4. My MiMix were laggy as hell at the beginning
5. restart again - everything is fine now, phone runs perfect ! Phone is rootet again, magisk works fine.

Hope it helps...Good luck

Wow it looks like a never ending story.

I tried it today again and voila, the problem never ends.
At first it looked really good, because a globeROM version without everything worked.
But after that I installed a version with everything what I wanted and got stuck at the boot animation.

My install logs are looking strange...

The first one looks like the recovery log and the second has nearly zero information.

Interesting!
Hope this helps the devs...

I today tried a full wipe, but still ended in bootloop on my Mi6 :-(
No matter if without root (and Dolby) or with root...
