I'm currently using the globeROM on my mi4c (7.4.20). I was waiting for Nougat and i'm not disappointed so far. I'm using to rom since the end of April and it's smooth, fast and battery life is better than before.
However I would like to use the OK Google feature and i just can't outside of the app. Before updating to Nougat I had the annoying message "My phone is locked" but at least I could Google something without having to open the app.
I have seen many users complaining about it on many xiaomi devices. I followed some tutorial but without any success.
I tired to set Google as default assistant.
I tried to delete Google Play services.
I gave all permissions to the app
I enabled settings in the Google app itself to allow voice recognition anywhere. Turns out it prevent voice recognition inside the app itself.
Any idea?
The only thing I haven't tried is to switch Google as system app....
